By using Tilaw, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use of the app

Tilaw is provided for Islamic education and personal worship. You may not use it to distribute harmful, illegal or offensive content.

Content

Quran text, translations and audio are imported from verified, licensed sources. All original content is owned by Tilaw and its contributors.

Payments and gifts

The Arabic course and reminder package are optional. Payment is optional: if you choose to pay you support the project, and if you prefer not to, the features are offered as a gift from Tilaw. On the website payments are processed securely by PayPal; we never see or store your card details. Inside the iOS or Android app, Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing will be used once enabled, and PayPal checkout is not shown in the native app. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from your account page.

Subscription terms

Tilaw offers an optional monthly and an optional yearly subscription. Inside the iOS and Android apps the price and currency shown come from Apple or Google, payment is charged to your store account at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and access stays open until the end of the paid period. Previous purchases can be restored with the “Restore purchases” button on the subscription page. Refunds are handled by the store according to its policy. No feature is locked behind payment: whatever you do not pay for is offered as a gift from Tilaw.

Limitation of liability

Tilaw is provided as-is. We do our best to ensure accuracy, but we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
